Best Buddies Challenge at Hearst Castle

Join the Best Buddies Challenge and choose to ride 100, 62, or 30 miles along the Pacific Coast Highway 1 from Carmel to Hearst Castle in San Simeon.

Along the way, you’ll enjoy incredible views as you ride the beautiful rolling coastline of California’s Central Coast. Sign up as an individual or form a team with friends to help Best Buddies enhance the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Pending changes, all participants receive a limited edition event jersey, premium gift bag, shower and massage, and admission to the post-event party featuring a gourmet barbecue, open bar, and private concert. Additional VIP benefits may be added as fundraising thresholds are reached.

For those who don’t ride, join others on the Trail Run/Walk (2.7 miles) taking place at Hearst Ranch in San Simeon. Enjoy a jog with friends, or go for a new personal best. The walk is the perfect challenge for families with small children.

The Challenge starts at the Quail Lodge Golf Club near Carmel and ends at Hearst Castle in San Simeon, passing through Big Sur, Lucia, and Ragged Point along the way.
