Eroica California in Cambria

Starting in 2019, Cambria will host Eroica California, allowing vintage cyclists to take advantage of the coastal views, winding highways, and dirt roads that make our share of the Central Coast so memorable.

The ultimate vintage cycling event just got better, now that it will be located in the ultimate Central Coast cycling location. With routes at various lengths, changing scenery, and challenges around every turn, there are rides for each level of committed cyclist. Cyclists participating in Eroica must connect with cycling heritage by riding vintage or vintage-looking bicycles and wearing period clothing, like wool shirts and shorts. But beware, Eroica California is not for the faint of heart—these routes are intense, and while this ride is not a race, it will test even the most experienced riders.

“After four successful years in Paso Robles, Eroica California is packing up and heading northwest to the quaint seaside community of Cambria, a little-known gem located halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles, directly along the famous Highway 1.
