The challenge will be to not overindulge in either the beauty or the wine—you have to make it back to Avila Beach! Make sure to grab a bottle to savor later when you return to the beach at Avila.
Sea to Summit Route

If you’re looking for sights to see in the area, head out and back on the Oso Flaco Lake Route. This ride takes you through natural attractions like the Avila Hot Springs, as well as the Pismo Beach Monarch Butterfly Grove. Visit the historic Oceano Railroad Depot, or grab lunch at J.J.’s Market. Of course, you also need to make time to stop at Oso Flaco Lake itself, and admire the awe-inspiring scenery of this rare coastal gem.
